When I was in 7th grade, my teacher, Mrs. Heitkam, read this handout with us at the beginning of the school year. Because of how demanding it felt, I had a bad attitude and did not listen. However, eventually, I took the initiative to read it, and it proved valuable enough for me to keep it all these years.
