The older you get, the more responsibilities you have. Along with it brings more opportunities to mess up, change, and improve. It is an exciting and confusing spot to be in because it's new, and you don't have all the best tools or understand how to use them yet. In the book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, business executive, author, and speaker Sean Covey shares seven habits exceptional teenagers use to take on new challenges, accomplish difficult tasks, and create lasting positive changes to better manage their life.
I encourage you to take the time to read this book as you are preparing for high school and beyond. I am thankful I did as an 8th grade student (becasue of my rock-star of a science teacher, Ms. Pettit), and it proved invaluable.
